The two bedroom cottage has its own enclosed garden with a Wellis Spa Hot Tub that is for the exclusive use of guests of The Cart Lodge. The property is situated in the North Norfolk country side, walking distance to the village of Worstead (which has a pub) and not far from the market town of North Walsham. There are 2 bedrooms; the master bedroom with king size bed and the second bedroom with zip-link beds to provide either 2 singles or zipped together to provide a king size bed (5’ x 6’3”) There are two bathrooms, one en-suite and one family bathroom. There is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, fridge freezer and Nespresso coffee machine. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar is provided.

Wi-Fi is provided in your accommodation however, please note that due to the rural setting, Wi-Fi speeds may be slower than you are used to.

The cottage is dog friendly so you are welcome to bring your four legged friends. We allow 1 dog in The Cart Lodge and we have the large enclosed paddock directly opposite for them to run around. If you wish to bring your dog, please ensure that this is included on your booking. (We may agree to 2 dogs depending on size/breed. Please contact us prior to booking to confirm.)

The location and cottage are ideally suited to those that enjoy the great outdoors, with lovely country walks or local cycle routes. There is also a well equipped gym on-site for use by guests.

We have some great cycle routes in the immediate area, starting at the property, from 5km to 200km, we can provide a recommendation for you.

The self contained cottage is yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay. The hot tub is just a few steps away from your back door.

Before your visit we will share a welcome email with all the details you need in terms of accessing the property, as well as information on local amenities etc!

Please note that the pricing is based on 2 people sharing 1 x double room. Please let us know if you are 2 guests wanting to use both bedrooms as an extra cleaning charge will apply. For more than 2 guests, each additional person is charged at £30 per night.

No smoking is allowed in the cottage or anywhere on the site. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.

You are welcome to bring your dog, but this must be included on your booking. We accept dogs over 6 months of age. Please see our dog policy for full details.

We always aim to ensure that our cottages are sparkling-clean. For the safety of our guests we have an enhanced cleaning routine which includes the disinfection of all frequently touched surfaces (light switches, door and cabinet handles, remotes etc) before you check in.

Gym equipment available for guest use: treadmill, rowing machine, excercise bike, free weights, weights rack and bench. Please note the gym also has a ‘Neo Bike’ but this is not available for guest use.
